Spring Cocktails & Cheshire Cat Grins

Today the temps are in the low 70's (talk about turn around) and
I have one thing on my mind! Fun spring cocktails!
I absolutely love mixing up or ordering a concoction that is
all glammed up and ready for a good time!
You know the kind that make you stick that little pinky out just a little bit further and
with a Cheshire cat grin you chuckle oh darling...make it a double!

Here is a round-up of my most favorite eye-catching spirits perfect for
all the gorgeous spring days to come.

Blueberry Mint Fizz with Fruit Ice

1 1/2 oz. Smirnoff Blueberry Vodka
Fruit Ice cube
2 1/2 oz. Club Soda
5-8 Mint Leaves
Blueberries
Muddle mint leaves in a cocktail of shaker. Add plain ice
(not your fruit ice), Vodka, and Club Soda. Shake.
Pour the cocktail over your over your fruit ice and enjoy.

Lilac Pisco Cocktail

2 ounces lemon juice
1/2 of a lemon in chunks with the rinds on them
2 ounces pisco
1 ounce St-Germain Liqueur
1.5 ounces simple syrup
  4 mint leaves
1 tablespoon lilac flowers, washed.
Combine the lemon chunks with the rinds, simple syrup,
mint and lilac flowers in a cocktail shaker and muddle.
Then add in the Pisco, lemon juice, St-Germain and ice.
Shake for about 20 seconds.
Then strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a few more lilacs.

 Lillet Rose

12 ounces Lillet Rose
6 ounces Ruby Red grapefruit juice
6 ounces gin
6 edible flower blossoms
Combine 6 ounces Lillet, 6 ounces grapefruit juice, 3 ounces gin, and ice in a cocktail shaker.
Shake until well chilled. Strain and divide cocktail among 3 stemmed cocktail glasses,
such as Champagne coupes. Repeat. Garnish with flowers. Serve immediately.
