I Spy {Cuff Chicness}

This week's I Spy is a look that completely takes me back to my "younger days".

Who out there remembers the "tight rolled" jean look of the 80's?

For those who don't...

BAM!

I swear my brother and I had this look down to a science with our Eastlands!!

Never in a million years did I think I would find myself perfecting my "cuffs" yet again in life and here I am...rocking with pride!

Now, we aren't quite back to the full blown tight roll {don't think for a second I won't attempt} but, whether it be a pair of skinny jeans paired with ankle boots or pumps or even your favorite loose fitting boyfriend denims with flats or sandals-this is a look I warmly welcome!

I Spy {Yosi Samra}

Are you a fan of flats?
If so, I have the perfect shoe for you.

Yosi Samra launched his feminine collection of fold-up ballet flats just a few years back in 2009.
Almost instantaneously these comfies were poppin' up on tootsies of many A-Lister's. 
Even though I am not a big fan of flats, I seriously fancy this collection, AND in no way am I afraid to admit my daily stalkerish ways of the @yosisamra instagram page.

As I do love the basic flats I am uber excited for the latest edition to the collection...

Flower Bomb

When the RTW Spring 2013 collections hit the runway back in early fall,
one trend that was evident…Floral prints!

Anthropologie is offering up a few chic Charlie Trousers perfect for the upcoming season. I for one have a total flashback moment to the year 2000 and a pair of green floral pants that I begged my mother for because duh they were “the hottest and a total must have”!! Did I mention my must haves turned from a dark green to a cobalt blue when they were in the presence of a black light?!
Oh yeah, talk about surprise when I hit the dance for the first time rocking them!
Looking back, I do the typical, WHAT was I thinking and well look at me now…ready to pick up a new pair!!

I Spy {Your Inner Bad Girl}

Yes...this post is WAY past due but, better late than never right?!

The leather trend has been hitting the scene since early spring and now is at an all time high. 
Next time you're standing in the grocery line bored out of your mind, grab just about any fashion mag and flip a glossy or two.  You will surely land on a pair of rockin' leather pants!

Why is it when we slip on even the tiniest bit of leather, we suddenly take on the persona of a total bad a$$?!

I Spy: Spring 2013

As we start to welcome another season of change and embrace all the warm and rich colors of fall, the fashion world says it's time to turn our sights to a mix of cheerful brights and tranquil neutrals that is Spring 2013.

Last week during NY Fashion Week, Pantone announced the colour palette for next spring and I for one am tickled over the upcoming hues! 

I love that there are pops of bright colors and not just your typical softer tones of spring.  There is even a great mix of basic tones to incorporate with several different looks!
