Bags Are Packed...

...And I'm ready to snuggle up for a few hours of sleep, then up bright and early to catch a 7am (Yikes) flight to sunny south Florida (yay for warmer weather) to bring in what I hope to be a year of growth in my faith, life, and business!
So long 2010-welcome 2011

Gettin' Lucky...

We all know there are all kinds of New Year's traditions to bring us extra special luck for the new year but, I need to know how I have missed this one for let's see 28 going on 29 years?!

How Fun?!!

A tradition in Spain is to eat 12 grapes (symbolizing the 12 months of the year) at the stroke of midnight!
Each sweet grape counts as a good month that year and each sour grape well I think you get the idea!  Let's all pray for sweet grapes! ; )

Leave it to Martha to jazz up this tradition by placing the 12 grapes on a skewer and serving in yummy champagne!!

What are some of your fave NYE traditions?!

Let The Countdown Begin...

In just FOUR days we will all join together and yell HAPPY NEW YEAR and welcome 2011!!  I always get giddy over the fresh start of a new year...It's the wonderful feeling of all things are possible (good things that is ; ) )-
This year I will be ringing in the new year in South Florida with my fella and I couldn't be more happy about it!!  I've enjoyed the snow and its perfect timing for Christmas Day but I can't wait to get to warmer weather!

So...with four days to go we need to switch gears (preferably high gear) and let the New Year's Eve party planning commence!

Inspiration...Begin

I first bring to you images (via) of a New Years Eve wedding with amazing styling by Amber Karson.  I'm crazy about the "countdown" wall!

Oh Santa...Thank You

I hope everyone had an amazing CHRISTmas and got everything they asked good ole' Saint Nick for!!  I'm thinking I must have been on the "nice" list because Santa brought me everything I asked for!

I am most excited about my new juicer and slow cooker...I'm standing on my head ready to use them but I'm SNOWED in and in desperate need of more fresh fruit and ingredients for a roast!
It's like having a new toy but no batteries!!

So what was your favorite gift this Christmas?!
