Happy first day of JUNE and hello summer!!!
How was your weekend?
Of course we were full speed ahead all weekend per usual!
Friday we kicked things off by cruising to our friends Josh and Bishop’s
home in Scott’s 1948 Chevrolet truck for a night full of laughter and great
food! Warm summer nights with the
windows down and then catching up with friends under the stars…What could be
better?
Saturday we meet up with our friends John and Jessica and a few others
to celebrate the birthday girl (Jessica) for a morning full of fun at the Conservators’Center. I had the BEST time! The center features 19 species and close to
100 animals. The mission of the center
is education, conservation, and rescue! I
personally felt this experience was way better than a trip to the zoo because we
were able to get super close to the animals to see them being fed and even hear
them make the most insane noises while they communicated with other animals and
handlers. Amaze!
The remainder of the day Scott and I spent hitting up all the local
consignment shops!
We found a few randoms that we felt needed to come home with us!
Saturday night we escaped out to the besties farm to see the progress of
their new home.
Carley Grace when asked “where’s your room going to be” responded every
so preciously,
“It hasn’t been framed yet”. Haha Seriously, I just love her!
Oh ya know, just two wild and crazy kids!
Sunday, was a day of leisure!
A
trip to the fish store, have I told yall about our salt water aquarium before?
Oh, me that will have to be a whole other post!
There was outdoor lunch at Zoes Kitchen.
Did you know they now have Basil Pesto
Hummus?!
To die for!!
We had dinner outdoors on our patio and wrapped the weekend up with a
drive over to
the in-laws (in the truck of course) to sit on the front porch a spell to
recap the weekend. I just cherish these summer
moments!

Here’s to wishing you
a beautiful first day of June and a
quote to help you
welcome summer!
