Royal Bliss

Yes, It's true...My invite was lost in the mail!! Geezz...You would think the royal fam could mail a simple invite!! 

Oh what a beautiful and magical wedding it was...

A few personal highlights for me...
-Prince Harry turning to see Kate (when he should be facing forward) as she walks down the aisle and then whispering to William something that I'm sure went like "hey...here she comes" haha
-Kate, William, and Harry when they first join at the alter...the giggles and grins they shared! Absolutely precious and so real!! 
-And the most breathtaking moment of all...The carriage ride.  Talk about happily ever after!!

So in honor of the Royal wedding...I give you all things British!!

For The Love Of Cooking...

I am a serious cheese junkie so when I discovered this recipe that is super easy, delivers great presentation, and perfect for warm weather I totally did my signature happy dance!!

Afternoon Delight...

Let's all take the afternoon off, kick our feet up, and toast to the good life!!

This is one outdoor retreat sure to go on my inspiration board!!

Can I move to coast ASAP and buy a surf board please??!!

Who am I kidding...me on a surf board just seems disastrous!!  I think I'll just lounge poolside (with surf board in had for the"cool" factor) and sip on a yummy Peach Fuzzie!

 

1 (12-ounce) can frozen pink lemonade concentrate, slightly thawed and divided

3/4 cup vodka, divided

3/4 cup water, divided

4 cups peeled and cubed fresh, ripe peaches (about 6 large), divided

Crushed ice

Process half quantities of first 4 ingredients in a blender until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides. Fill blender with ice to 5-cup level, and process until smooth. Pour into a pitcher. Repeat procedure with remaining ingredients. Garnish, if desired.

I Spy...

Swimsuits

This past Easter weekend I went out for a ride on the boat with my daddy and got my first tan lines of the spring/summer!!  YAY...huge smile on my face!!  Ok, wait let me clear this up... I'm not a fan of tan lines but, I am a fan of that sun goddess glow! ; )

Now...let me hit the gym and run till my legs fall off so that I'm ready for these fab suits!!

I am finally taking a moment to stop and absorb all the fun I have had with my family and friends!   Life is good :)

Enchanting Escape

Happy Friday...Hope it's been a great week!!

I was over at Traditional Home yesterday and discovered this beautiful home!!
I am loving every inch of this house!

The sitting area is A-MAZING!!!  From the black and white striped cushions to the tropical foliage and the ukulele, what a perfect finishing touch!! 

Do I spy an Anthropologie monogrammed mug?? I think so ; )

Outdoor fire pits get me every time...just add good friends and wine and you're set!!

Je T'aime Paris

I would give anything to be walking the streets of Paris today.

Champs Elysee, St Michelle, Gay Lussac (where I called home summer of '05).  There is just something so magical about the the streets of Paris.

Sometimes it's best just to head out into the city with no map and just loose yourself and be free!

Since I can't hop the next plane...I will have to daydream for now...
