Friday Flashback...On Sunday {Oops}

This little lady skipped out of town on Thursday with a close friend to catch the Calvin Harris show in Charlotte.  To make a long story short...When one is dancing like no one is watching, it is NOT the smartest idea to have your iPhone in your back pocket!  

That's right...One amazing night of fun, meeting super precious darlings and dancing till the wee-hours of the morning, all at the expense of having to purchase now my 5th iPhone in two years.

I seriously need like a watch fob or something for my phone.

The fab city girls behind Rue Mag have taken things down to the Lone Star State for the latest issue that just went live moments ago!

This issue is one of their best pieces yet- the Rue team just keeps getting better! 

Total bonus, one of my fave life style bloggers, Austin beauty Camille Styles teaches us all how to make a taco the Texas way!

Anniversary Celebration...Rue Style

A year already?! Time seriously flies!

I can remember the major anticipation for the launch of the very first issue of Rue Magazine...It was amazing then and a year later, every issue raises the bar just that much higher!!

I've said it many times before, the four ladies behind Rue (Crystal, Anne, Bri, and Cassandra) are simply amazing.  They are all so unique in their own style and together they create magic!!

Knocking socks off once again... 

Rue Magazine and the amazing ladies behind the mag (Crystal, Anne, Bri, and Cassandra) just keep getting it right!

This 6th issue of Rue went live on Tuesday and last night I made sure to make time to curl up with a glass of wine and indulge myself!

New York Times Takes Notice...

I'm sure most of you have heard the buzz going around ALL social networks, but I want to personally send out a HUGE Congrats and Cheers!!

The amazingly talented Crystal Gentilello, Anne Sage, Paloma Contreras, Katie Armour, Michelle Adams, and Patrick Cline were all spotlighted yesterday in the New York Times feature story on online shelter magazines!

I think it is high time that we all sit up and take notice of what this guys and gals are doing and accomplishing!!!

I for one am a big fan of the online mags...my day is brightened with every issue launch!

Issue 3 went live this morning and I FINALLY have had a chance to indulge myself and WOW...The Rue Ladies (Crystal, Anne, Cassandra, and Bri) are knocking my socks off once again!

Highlight of this issue (for me) had to be the Design by Democracy spread!!  

From the entry way to the kitchen to the sleek bedroom this Manhattan apartment is begging me to come visit!

Now that was fun!  Just wrapped up the Rue Magazine twitter party for the much anticipated launch of Issue 3! The ladies of Rue are in NYC for the big debut and I'm longing to be there sipping bubbly with these fab ladies!!

Here's To The 20's

Celebrating my 29th Birthday today and already I am completely blown away by 
the wishes and extra special birthday love!!

Festivities kicked off last weekend while I was in Florida and just keep coming!

My parents and brother treated me last night with a delicious dinner and yummy treats!

I was awaken at 3:30am (the actual time I was born) to my amazing mother wishing me a happy birthday!  My desk at work looks as if a Party City exploded...Gah I have the BEST co-workers!

Still to come...a night of fun and celebrating with sushi and cocktails and my wonderfully amazing friends!!

Lavish-What A Weekend

Let me first start by saying if you were unable to attend Lavish this past weekend in Atlanta, Georgia then start planning NOW to attend Lavish 2011!! It is SURE to be sell out!!  I had high expectations for the event and all were exceeded!  Here is a quick glimpse into the jam-packed weekend!

I will throughout the week continue to showcase some of favs!

Friday Night Cocktail Party hosted by What Are These Rocks? You will have to stay tuned to find out more (hint...launches first of the year) but let's just say we were the first in the USA to sip a very tasty treat from Israel!   

Halo booth (sponsored by Sokenbicha-another tasty treat) provided pics for the evening!



Saturday was a whirlwind!!

The day started off listening to the phenomenal panel of Cassandra LaValle (Coco+Kelley), Camille Styles Moore (Style Notes), and Monica Barnett (Blueprint for Style)

Next- The AMAZING ladies of Design Sponge spoke of "Getting the Word Out"

The entire lineup was INSANE!!

Saturday Night was ridiculously fun!  Rue Magazine, HGTV, Studio M, Room and Board, and Smilebooth hosted a blast of a night with The Flashdance providing tunes!  Seriously, I'm planning a party ASAP just so I can have them come DJ...They KILLED it!!

Lavish was absolutely amazing and I can't even begin to express how thankful I am to Shameeka Ayers of The Broke Socialite for having a dream and vision and bringing it to real life!!
