Last night I had one of my most restless nights of sleep
since becoming pregnant. The weight of
my ever growing belly is something I am having to adjust to and turning over in
the middle of the night has been my newest challenge and requires some assistance! I can only assume that these last 7 weeks of
pregnancy will continue to prove that a peaceful night’s sleep is a thing of
the past. I wonder if this is God's way
of just preparing me for many sleepless nights ahead when Baby G arrives?? Mommy’s out there, do you have any
suggestions besides a fork lift to reposition yourself throughout the night without
the pulling pain in your stomach?
As I sit here feeling sleep deprived and with one eye open,
I honestly just want to look at pretty things that make me happy and require
little effort to enjoy. So today, I give
you “All Things Pretty”!
Thank you in advance for your tips and tricks for finding peaceful Zzz's these last few weeks!
A body plow really helped me at night

DeleteThanks Cheryl- I currently have two behind my head and one on each side of me! Thank goodness for a kings size bed or there would be no room left for Scott! haha
DeleteThe hardest part is after I have laid on my right side for an hour or so and then turn to my leftside- I just feel like every muscle is pulling apart! It's like I get stiff...
I would tap Brandon on the shoulder and he would bend and stiffen his arm and I'd push or pull off of him. Only thing that didn't make me feel like I was pulling something :) I've gotten more sleep with Beckett here than I did in those last few weeks of pregnancy! Not too long, mama!
ReplyDeleteI pushed our bed to the wall my last weeks of pregnancy. It was the only thing that gave my back support and had something to push off of. Lol! I also had a body pillow. Sounds also like you may need a support belt for your belly. They do help. Not too much longer and your sweetheart will be here. Hang in there.
