Decisions and Masterpieces

For as long as I can remember I have wanted to pack my bags and move to south Florida. I LOVE the beach, warm weather, and have a slight obsession with palm trees and tropical flowers. However, my dream job would require me to make a move in the total opposite direction.
Yeap, all the way north to New York City!


Of course loving interior design almost as much as I love fashion and my usual tendency to put the cart before the horse, I immediately start thinking where will I live? What could I afford? Oh no…how tiny will my apartment be?! Will I have a murphy style bed- EEK!
BUT, after seeing my darling fave Jen Ramos’ new 975 sq foot NYC pad I felt a slight peace of mind come over me.
I am well aware I will most likely be dealing with far less square footage but, “giving up” (aka renting) my current home just over 1,300 square foot in NC becomes a little bit easier after seeing the artistically chic masterpiece Jen has created with limited space!

DIY: Out With The Old?? Not So Fast...

The old saying out with the old and in with the new has taken on a whole new meaning!

If you have been a reader of DC for a while or maybe even just a few months
it won't take you long to catch on that Jen Ramos of Made By Girl and Cocoa Hearts is one my biggest inspirations!  I would definitely classify her as one of the most
creative, fascinating blogger and entrepreneurs out there!

Per usual I was over indulging in the MBG blog and found myself back to one of my more favorite DIY’s Jen has posted.  However, as much as I LOVE this super creative way to jazz up the old shoes in your closet, a part of me hopes my sweet mama is NOT reading this post!  I have pretty much convinced her that YES it is necessary to purchase new shoes regularly, because duh mama those are soooo last season ;)  

Jen took a pair pumps she had for the past 4 years and updated them to
fit this seaons trend...Neon!

All you need is paint and a brush and major

creative juices flowing (wine should help with this part)!!

Here's To 100...
