I'm still playing catch-up {not the best way to start the week}...

Anyway, I decided to scratch the Top 5 Downloads I originally had planned for Friday and share with you a roundup of Calvin Harris songs.

When I told my friends I was going to see the phenom DJ that is Mr. Harris, so many of them had ZERO clue who he even was!!!

So, just in case you are also missing out on his greatness...I give you a knowledge dropping sesh this Monday morning and a few "Shake it Don't Break it” hits!

Friday Flashback...On Sunday {Oops}

This little lady skipped out of town on Thursday with a close friend to catch the Calvin Harris show in Charlotte.  To make a long story short...When one is dancing like no one is watching, it is NOT the smartest idea to have your iPhone in your back pocket!  

That's right...One amazing night of fun, meeting super precious darlings and dancing till the wee-hours of the morning, all at the expense of having to purchase now my 5th iPhone in two years.

I seriously need like a watch fob or something for my phone.

I Spy {Happily Ever After in NYC}

 My nearest and dearest know a tiny secret about me that for some time now has consumed my thoughts and everyday life. It wasn’t until recently that I realized I don’t believe I have ever shared with all of you. After years of sheer fear of the unknown, years of hanging around for long term relationships that did not turn into happily ever after, and more importantly a lifetime of never wanting to be more than a hop, skip, and a jump away from my family, I now at 31 years old have finally, yes FINALLY had my aha moment.

Let me ask you, if you had a degree in fashion merchandising where is the first place you would relocate to after graduation??!! Yeap New York City!! So, that is just what I plan to do…God willing! This is obviously a long process and of course taking a lot of planning and hard work but, I trust that God has lead me on the path that I am on today and He is the one leading me now. If this major move is what I am to do…I have zero doubt that it will ALL fall perfectly into place…all these years later. Like they say…timing is everything!

One thing I know I would miss would be my southern and I mean deep southern roots. The thought of no sweet tea…slightly earth shattering. Now, you will totally see why I was tickled to come across the home of artist Christopher Daniels and his now wife Alice Childress, Vice President, Advertising and Creative Services at Vera Wang over on Elle Décor. Both of these amazing talents hale from Charlottesville, Virginia and made sure to keep a touch of the south in their 1,500 Soho Apartment.

Here is a sneak peek but, PLEASE do stop by and see more shots of their gorgeously renovated pad as well as read how these two reunited and fell in love…in the city!

The vintage tube and amazing artwork turned the bathroom into my favorite spot of the entire apt.

Seriously, how fun and punchy is the unique addition of the surfboard/skateboard and colorful print?!

Friday Flashback

To be completely honest, I haven't had a lot of time to browse instagram this week.

From losing my iPhone charger (talk about cutting the lifeline) and working on lots of exciting opportunities for Delightfully Chic and in my life, time just kinda slipped away.
