Palm-Tastic

One trend that is undeniable this season are those full of life and vibrant in color, gorgeous green palm leaves! Whether styled in a cozy nook, alone in a vase, arranged in a wall collage, on a pillow, or even as wall coverings,  this is a popular look that can't be missed.

Here are a few styled looks I completely swoon over and all the details on where to shop to bring a little botanical goodness into your home.

Framed Wallpaper

November 20th we will have been in our house for 1 year and
as much as I hate to say it (and Scott hates to hear it), there is still SO much
I want to do in the decor department.
I'm just not one to rush things when it comes to decorating a home.
I like to live in the space and really get a sense of how I want the room to feel.
My two favorite rooms in the entire house (neither are completed) would have to be
our dining room and our formal living room. There is just something about
these two spaces that speaks to me.  It could be possibly be the strong presences of
the color white (yall know I'm obsessed) or maybe because these were two of my
favorite rooms at my parent's home when I was a child?
Whatever the reason may be these spaces really ignite my inner interior designer.
My wheels are constantly turning on what I will do next.

And that brings me to today and what I have up my sleeve next for one or maybe
both of these rooms.

Framed Wallpaper Panels
I'm obsessed with this look!  You get the gorgeous prints that wallpaper offers,
but without the hassle of installing or one day pulling down the pesky paper!

 Gorgeous right?!
Do you have framed wallpaper in your home?!
Would you go this route for a real statement piece in your home?!

Let's Go Bananas

I'm a total fan of wallpaper done right.
Do I currently have any wall coverings in our home?
Nope! But, if I did you could bet that these gorgeous banana leafs would
be floor to ceiling at The Gaither's.
My wheels are turning on where I can implement this look in our home.
Hmm...

Contemplating {Stripes}

Lately I have been pondering the idea (yet again) of adding wallpaper to our home.
There are so many cool patterns and variations of the once horrid and painful wall coverings that my wheels are turning.  But before I rush out to pick up a few rolls of the nightmare turned stylish goodness I think I want to first try something I’ve been wanting to do since my previous home.
Painted striped walls!
I previously wanted to paint my laundry room in horizontal yellow and white stripes.
Now I am thinking I need to feature an accent wall in my home office with simple black and white stripes. Thoughts?! Don’t you think this would be super fun and by only tackling a smaller accent wall this should be totally doable and completely stress free!   Right?!
I bet Sweet Mama is reading this post going,
“Oh my…if these lines aren’t completely straight and perfect everyone
prepare for a breakdown!” HA!
No worries, people.  I’ll be as cool as the flip side of my pillow!
That is, until perfection has been achieved! ;)

But, seriously, How FUN?!

I think in my office space I would go with vertical stripes but, still debating!
The other accent colors planned are soft shades of pink because what southern girl
doesn't love a little blush and bashful.  You can see my office inspiration in this post here.

Love It or Hate It {Ombre Accent Wall}

Hey Hey Hey...Remember Me?!
I'm back and with a new last name!!! Allow me to reintroduce myself as the forever blushing bride Tiffany Gaither to one handsome man and total gentleman, Scott Gaither!!
That's right...August 2nd at 6pm, my fella and I tied the knot and marital bliss has completely ensued!
I have a full post coming your way soon with all the details but, for now here is just a tiny sneak peek!
Alexis of Red Stone Photography is nothing short of amazing!!!

Scott and I currently have our home on the market and we are hunting a new place we can call home so you can imagine how I am filling my spare times these days!! Pinterest and my forever favorite glossy mags are all I can seem to gush over at the moment!  I stumbled across this beautiful ombre accent wall and started thinking...would this be fun in an office or sitting room??  Maybe a guest room or nursery (hold your horses, we are still enjoying being newlyweds at the moment but, a girl has to think of the future...duh).

So what are your thoughts??  Are you diggin' the transition of color onto an accent wall or do you feel this trend is best left for your luscious locks and cakes and such?!

So what's it gonna be??
Love it or Hate it??!

 Enjoy!!

Hi all, I’m Susi, a writer for Design Shuffle, an online community of designers and design lovers from around the world who share projects and ideas. I love getting to visit great design blogs, like Delightfully Chic as a guest blogger. Today's guest post is all about must-have pink wallpapers and decorating ideas for using them. Feminine and stylish, these pink wallpapers can work in so many rooms of the home. Pink wallpapers add a feminine touch that can be ultra-girly or subtle depending on the pattern. Here are eight of my must-have pink wallpapers. So pretty in pink. Enjoy!
Graham Brown Wallpaper Design
Desire wallpaper in pink from Graham Brown is a gorgeous fancy patterned wallpaper.
Gorgeous and perfect for a bedroom.
Damask Wallpaper Design
For a feminine yet contemporary kitchen, we love this pink damask wallpaper. Paired with sleek appliances and finishes, it is an unexpected but very pretty wall treatment.
Flowered Wallpaper Design
A soft rose background and white roses is a pretty combination on this pink wallpaper. Love it paired with a bright green painted bookcase.
Graham Brown Vintage Wallpaper
Another beautiful pink wallpaper from Graham Brown, Lucille, is based on vintage lace from the 50s. Pretty pale pink is paired with pale grey in this lovely wallpaper.
Pink and Gold Wallpaper
What a great combination of pink and gold in this pretty wallpaper! Perfect for foyer, powder room or bedroom design.
Cerberus Wallpaper Pattern
Love this geometric pattern from Wallpaper from the 70s. It's called Cerberus and is a version of an onion design, popular in mid-century design. Wallpaper is one of the best dining room design ideas. Graphic and gender neutral, this wallpaper would look great in a various dining rooms.
Rose Wallpaper Design
A gorgeous rose wallpaper with an antique botanic inspired pattern looks so pretty in this bathroom. This sophisticated pattern would also be pretty pink wallpaper for a dining room.
Pink Wallpaper Design
We often see trees in interior designs, but seldom trees and pink on the same wall. Love this pretty pink wallpaper.
Perfect for a dining room and paired with golds and greens.
