Fashion Fix Friday {I Gotta Goat}

Yall, the day has arrived!

 I have begged and pleaded for a goat for sometime now

 and finally, my husband caved and has gotten me my very own goat! 

Well...Sorta!

So, before we bought our home "in the city" we pondered the idea

of living out in the country on a few acres of land where I would

have lots of dogs, maybe a chicken or two, and GOATS!
Since, we did the total opposite I have tried to convince Scott that we
should turn his workshop into a stable for my goats.
I still have not won this argument, but, today I take small
victory in the fact that I am now the proud owner of my my very on 
Magnolia Market "Goat Shirt"! 

 

I feel like I need to name her...Willamina kinda has a nice 
ring to it, don't you think?!  And how cute is our fave "Jo Jo"?!

Seriously, those faces and hello floppy ears!

Ok, So, today, I decided why not have some fun

Inspiration and Power in HIS Words {Joanna Gaines}

If there is one person who inspires me, outside of family, that would have to be

Joanna Gaines. Joanna or as her friends and loving husband Chip call her "Jo Jo",

is one of those people you just can't ever seem to get enough of.

From her amazing talents that she showcases weekly on their hit TV show

Fixer Upper to her beautiful store Magnolia Market.  Jo Jo is oozing in success!

She has an absolutely gorgeous family and as I said before super loving husband that 

builds her up and supports her in so many ways.  
If you are a fan of the show, you know exactly what I am talking about.

This past week Joanna took a few minutes to share her powerful and inspiring story 

about faith, family, and responding to the call of God and the impact HE has had on her life.

This is just too good not to share...The world would be a better place if we had 
more role models like sweet Jo Jo in our daily social media feeds and in life.

and all that you are doing for little ole dreamers like me! 

My Comfy Bed & Cotton

It’s official the weather roller coaster has taken me for a ride and I am now SICK!  

 From a beautiful 70 degrees yesterday and a low of 19 today with a chance of snow, I mean it’s kind of to be expected right?  Thanks Mother Nature, you’re the best!   
The only thing on my mind right now is my warm comfy bed which in turn then makes 
my mind drift to cotton stems.  I know, just a day in the life of 
a runny nose, watery eyed interior design lover.

I was just telling the husband and mother-in-law the other day that I need to grab a few stems to place in our guest bathroom.  I just love the purity and gentleness of the little white poufs.

The Color of Love {Red}

In honor of Valentines and in keeping with my theme of love this week,

I figured today we could use a little motivation to get us pumped up 

for the big day with pops of red!

The color of love, passion, energy, and power!
