Candy and Booze
Cheers to the ladies at Fashionably Bombed -- Two girls who seriously KNOW their cocktails!!
Candy Corn Martini
1½ ounces milk
1½ ounces cream
1 ounce Candy Corn Infused Vodka
½ ounce Honey Syrup
Add ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake, shake, shake!
Honey Syrup
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup water
Place honey and water in a small saucepan and stir until dissolved. Bring to a gentle boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat and simmer until syrup is slightly thickened, about 3 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool.

Anniversary Celebration...Rue Style
A year already?! Time seriously flies!
I can remember the major anticipation for the launch of the very first issue of Rue Magazine...It was amazing then and a year later, every issue raises the bar just that much higher!!
I've said it many times before, the four ladies behind Rue (Crystal, Anne, Bri, and Cassandra) are simply amazing. They are all so unique in their own style and together they create magic!!
Congrats ladies!!

For The Love Of Cooking
It's officially fall and the crisp morning air tells me the weather finally agrees!
My house is now warm and toasty at night and smells of pumpkin spice throughout.
Since my house smells like a big ole' pumpkin farm maybe I should start looking at a few recipes that use that festive orange ball as the main ingredient.

I Spy...
Sam Edelman's Spiky Goodness...
I love these flats for many reasons...1 they are super glam, 2 flats are the perfect transition from open toes to fall boots, 3 hello who's gonna mess with you when you're wearing spikes on your tootsies??
As much as I love to kick back and relax in a pair of flats...I like to take my 5' 2" short self a few inches higher!
The next two styles are out of control insane and NEED to be in my life!!

Sunday Sanctuary
Brrr...It's cold out! Fall is definitely in the air!
Is it cold where you are?!
I was super excited for fall (which is a little unusual for me) but, after today and having goosebumps within 10 seconds of a walk from the car into the restaurant for lunch with my daddy I started to miss summer!!
Tonight I am wrapping my weekend with a hot cup of tea and snuggling up in warm pj's while looking at colors via Pantone for the DC collection!
Exciting Stuff!!
